I finished typing up the plot/dialogue/whatever to the prelude for Kuwabara Kuwabara.
It's three parts and pretty brief. I doubt you'd want to read it, but let me know if you actually have the compulsion. It's ridiculous, trippy, and eerie and it's not supposed to make any sense until you progress further in, so don't expect anything good.
I've been spending most of my lunches/cafeteria study halls in the art room working on fucked up paintings, or at a table with some people while mulling over KK. I've been productive, but only in the things that don't remotely matter to anyone else. I started some concept art pages for the prelude (A Dead Angel's Overture) and I have exactly what I need to do for the real pages all set. Hopefully I can advance on that this week; my mood has certainly been in the right place.
My fear has been eating me alive lately. I see him everywhere; he knows this, and all I can do is run and hide and pretend I am no longer myself. It hasn't been working as well as I'd hoped.
I don't know what to do with myself now, and my despondency keeps getting reinstated by all of the events around me.

you feel nothing?
BUT i could probably help you out some. especially over the summer if you're up for it.
what is it about?

you feel nothing?
do you have a basic idea of what it's about?

The basic story is it is a spiritualistic western, only within the western setting there is a lot of modernity.
It concerns and angel of death type character being exiled by a devil character, and the reasons and complicated series of events leading up to his exile, and the afterwards.
It's 7 chapters, some in flashback some not... Each chapter is associated with a piece of music whose lyrics will be written between the illustrations. I have visuals that will be written in detail for you to work off of, and anything i cant describe in words I am sure I can find some representation of, thats not to say your interpretation wouldnt be important... I have a few color ideas but there is a lot i will leave to your superior judgement...
im a bit tired so i realize my details are all over the place, i will write a better summary when i have had some sleep haha.

It's a story about the evils of absolutist ideaology and religious zealotry wrapped in a revenge western set in supernatural terms. Haha.
Now none of the characters are going to be called "god" or "devil" but that is their basic archtype, so when i reference them as such, its just for simplicities sake.
This is a basic chapter by chapter summary:
chapter 1:
a man wakes up in a desert, beaten to hell and having no memory of who he was or is. He wanders to a large rock structure with the intention of suicide but at the last second hears a voice that pulls him back.
chapter 2:
This one is in flashback. It is that same guy only he is a total badass, he rides into town, under orders of the devil to kill a bartender. He does so in delightfully evil fashion and leaves.
Chapter 3: He returns to the town of Icarus to give the devil the collected soul. The devil is named wallace babylon, an eyeless gold toothed old man with nails through his finger tips and bare feet. He orders the angel of death (dalton morton) to go and take a womans unborn child.. he tells him specifically NOT to kill the mother.
Chapter 4: Dalton is nursed back to health by a character named simply "the man in the cave" he sends dalton on his way to the nearest town. where he arrives and exhausted, falls into the care of twin sisters.
Chapter 5: flashback again, Dalton arrives in the town and kills the baby... but also (in an extreme moment of guilt and kindness) kills the mother too.. when he returns home, Babylon beats him nearly to death and exiles him to the desert he starts the story in.
Chapter 6: Dalton spends time with the twins, only to gain his memory back and realize that the twins were actually triplettes and he had killed their sister. (Now my logic for this is some form of trinity mysticism, that 3 killed fetuses in 3 triplettes all pregnant at the same time would produce an antichrist)
This all comes back to dalton and he then looks to return to icarus to avenge himself and the dead woman.
Chapter 7: He arrives at Babylon's pub and attempts to start a fight.. he is promptly killed, and when he hits the ground is back in the cave he was nursed back to health in... he is confronted again by the man who tells him he can give him his life and powers back, just as long as when he does he kills the devil.. Dalton agrees.
When he returns he uses his powers to destroy the town and everyone in it, including babylon... After the town is laid waste, the man in the cave returns furious with what dalton has done... dalton then kills the man and declares there shall be no powers governing people souls.. and only free will.
The ironic part of it is he then pledges to enforce free will with his power, becoming the god and devil character in one.
Now i skipped a lot of specifics and details but that is the very stripped down version of the story, if you like it and wanna be my illustrator I will start sending you my detailed manuscripts as I finish them.
